WHERE ARE YOU, MY MOTHER?

--

Where are you, my mother?
Where have you gone?
All the sweetness of life has ended,
While the bitterness has spread here and there.

The caretakers are few, while the majority are here to tear me apart.
Greenery has gone, while deserts are in plenty
And in my garden, scorching summer never goes.
The beautiful things look ugly and the ugliness is everywhere.

You were my life and you left.
You left me in the middle of nowhere.
My fragile fingers are too soft to work.
My heart is too honest to cheat.

You have made me a stone by leaving me here.
Why did you leave?
I miss your warmth.
Mother, my life is no life without you.
I loved you, my mother.
