Non-local worker found dead in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — A non-local worker has died of alleged suicide in Srinagar on Thursday, official sources said.

Official sources said that a worker at Bistro Boulevard Restaurant & Bakery was found unconscious in his rented room.

“The worker, identified as Sanjay Guru son of Debabhadur Guru of Jalpaiguri West Bengal, was immediately brought to JLNM Rainawari, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival,” they said.

While it is presumed that the person died of suicide, a police official said that they have registered a case in this regard to ascertain the cause of death.
