J-K Govt appoints Raghav S as Additional Superintendent of Police in Budgam

SRINAGAR — The Government of Jammu and Kashmir announced the appointment of Raghav S. as the Additional Superintendent of Police for Budgam district on Thursday. The placement has been made to fill an existing vacancy within the district’s administrative structure.

According to the official order, the decision to appoint Shri Raghav S., a member of the Indian Police Service with the 2018 AGMUT cadre, comes in the interest of streamlining administrative operations. He was previously awaiting posting orders.

The official order, issued by the authorities, stated, “In the interest of administration, Shri Raghav S. IPS (AGMUT:2018) awaiting orders of posting, is posted as Addl. Superintendent of Police, Budgam, against an available vacancy.”

This strategic appointment aims to fortify the law enforcement framework within Budgam district and is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance and law enforcement in various areas across Jammu and Kashmir.
