IED recovered in Litter Pulwama: Police
SRINAGAR — Police on Thursday said that a major tragedy was averted by recovering a 15-kilogram improvised explosive device (IED) at Armullah Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Two militant associates have been also arrested, a police spokesman said in a tweet.
“Police and security forces averted a major tragedy by recovering 15kg IED (planted by militants) in village Armullah, Litter,” IGP Kashmir said in a tweet.
He said two associates involved in the incident have been arrested. “Case registered. Investigation on,” he added as per GNS.
